Sawyer Hill Austin Concert reviews
Monster show!
On May 16th, 2026, what can be said about a Sawyer Hill show?! This band has earned its swag among metal fandom, certainly. The intense energy that the swedes brutalize crowds with at its concerts has become legendary, and in this NYC show, it showed no signs of waning.
Armed with intricate technicality and casual in its brutality, the harsh riffage and odd timings churn the crowd into an all-encompassing mosh pit, much like a black hole, swallowing up anyone near it. As striking as its performance of a set mixing newer material with the older is the visuals, from the backdrops to the light show. Oh, and the sound production is top notch as well.
Prepare for battle when you attend a Sawyer Hill show, do yourself a favor. Know that if the pit takes you, it might prove difficult to go home unscathed. But all in good taste!
